Volusia Remembers Coalition (VRC), a community remembrance project coalition partnering with Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), is installing a historical marker for Lee Bailey, a black man lynched in DeLand, Florida, on September 26, 1891.
The marker will be located near the 200 block of West Rich Avenue near the site of Mr. Bailey’s lynching.
Join us as we memorialize a victim of racial terror lynching.
